Bio - Daniel Baxley
|I am Daniel Baxley. I have been on a spiritual journey ever since I was a child. It seems as though I have always had a connection with the unseen world, even when I was very young. This connection continued to grow and evolve over the years, as I began to gain confidence with my unseen helpers and teachers. I have always been on a path of healing for myself and for those that I share this earth walk with. I believe in being of service to community and to our planet.
On my journey in this life I spent 30 years of my life as a professional firefighter in Kansas City Kansas. I retired from the Fire Service in 2000. I have had a full time Healing Practice since that time. I have been working with others to help them find their own healing for the last 15 years.
My lineage is Native American, although I have had most of my life experience in traditional American ways .I have studied with many Native American teachers in North America. I conduct Sweat Lodge Ceremonies, Vision Quest and other healing ceremonies in the good indigenous ways in which I was trained, as well as following my spirit and guidance in how they are best integrated for our times and healing.
My Training also encompasses work with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in Soul Retrieval, Journey Work, Divination, Psycho pomp, and Extraction.
In addition to the Shamanic work, which is the core of my practice there are many other healing modalities that I use in working with my clients. I have been a massage therapist for the last ten years. My specialty in bodywork is sacred stone massage. I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Advanced Attunement Practitioner, Actualism Light Work Practitioner, Cranial Sacral and Somato Emotional Release therapist, Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor, and have been on the faculty of the Massage Therapy Training Institute in Kansas City since 1998. I also do ongoing workshops and teachings in many of the areas of my training. I sponsor other teachers and trainings as well as drumming circles and other ceremonies where people of good heart and like mind can gather in a safe and
I live with my wife and stepchildren in Gardner Kansas. My Beloved Karrie Marie and I are the co-creators of White Deer Lodge. A beautiful oasis of the natural world. White Deer Lodge is a stand-alone structure where we sponsor many of our workshops and teachings.
If I can be of service to you in any of the areas that I work in please contact me. My greatest gift is serving others in opening to that space of healing within their own hearts.
